As oru community was suffering through the pandemic, Tamara Felden was seeking ways to offer something that would be a bright spot among all the difficulties. She opened The Artsy Bookworm on June 23, 2021, and it soon became a safe space with kindness for all. Economic circumstances were not in a small bookstore's favor, though, and in January 2024 The Artsy Bookworm closed its brick & mortar location. However, that is not the end of our story but a new beginning. 2024 is the year for us to set up satellite locations at businesses that are friendly to our mission and are finding ways to make our community better. Check out our locations and our events and support us by giving us your business and perhaps making a donation to help us grow.
Our network consists of those places in the community that offer a home for our mission and products. Our satellite locations are:
Skeleton Key Art and Antiques
520 18th Street, Rock Island
Hauberg Estate
1300 24th Street, Rock Island
More locations coming soon.
We always love to hear from you. Send your message here and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
